The limits of the world are the limits of language. The infected lexicon of language is an archive of words and terms I’ve created to propose a new vocabulary which responds to my experience of growing up in a world dominated by the heteronormative, the binary and the religious. The words relate to my own memories, fantasies and fears, and have been informed by the things I have been watching, reading, and listening to in the past years.
The infected lexicon of language explores language as a virus that has the power to remember, record and actualise. For this reason, the words are published and circulated through wearables that work as walking-billboards, aiming for such terms to enter legitimate usage.
